Welcome to Lakeland Pure Breeds

We are a family run business in Ayside, near Grange-over-Sands, specialising in Lakeland pure breed sheep.

Operated by husband and wife team, James and Wendy Sharp we run a thriving smallholding consisting of 60 pure breed sheep. Having launched the business in 2009, we have successfully bred a range of sheep for sale including, Zwartbles, Jacob and Herdwick.

Our smallholding is located in the picturesque southern fells of the Lake District where we have many acres of peaceful grassland in which to farm.  Every inch of our land enjoys panoramic views towards the Langdales, Morecambe Bay and beyond.
